Larry, a native of Madison County, has owned and operated Linville Insurance Agency since 1978. He graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 1971 with a Bachelors degree in accounting. In 1974, he started in the insurance industry selling life and health insurance. In 1978, he opened his own agency in Berea. In 1996, he opened a second location in Richmond.

Larry is an active member of Berea Baptist Church. He also serves as the chairperson for the annual "Day of Hope" Benefit. He is also active in the Kentucky Men of Integrity ministry. In addition to his church activities

Larry Resides in Berea with his wife Karen. He is the father of 3 children, Lori, Brian and Chad. When he's not working, Larry enjoys spending time with his 9 grandchildren and farming cattle.

Lori, a native of Madison county joined the agency in July 1996. She is a 1991 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University where she earned 2 Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in Insurance and Marketing. Upon graduation, she worked for an insurance company as a commercial underwriter and a marketing representative for 5 years. Lori has earned her Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation, Certified School Risk Manager (CSRM) designation and well as the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. She has also served as past president of the CPCU Society.

Lori's responsibilities at Linville Insurance are in the areas of marketing and sales. Her principal sales focus is in business insurance. She has extensive experience working with large accounts such as school systems, construction contractors, manufacturers and hotels/motels. In addition, she oversees the day-to-day operations of the organization. She is an active member of First Baptist Church Richmond, a member of the Younger Women's Club and serves as an advisor for the Chi Omega Sorority at EKU.

Lori and her husband Scott, live in Berea with their 2 young daughters Maren and Marlee. She enjoys shopping, spending time with family and church activities.

Barbara began her career with the agency in 2004. She is a Madison County native graduating from Berea College in 1968 with a degree in business administration. Before going to work in the insurance industry in 1975, Barbara worked in the registrar's office at EKU and then taught at the business college. Prior to joining Linville Insurance, she owned her own agency for over 22 years. Barbara serves as personal lines and farm specialist for our clients primarily in our Berea office. She handles both renewals and new business quotations.

Barbara is the mother of 2 sons, Ronnie and Ricky; and she has 3 grandchildren, Trey, Catie and Jadeyn. She resides in Berea and is a member of Silver Creek Baptist Church. She is very active in church as treasurer and substitute Sunday school teacher.

Chad is a native of Madison County graduating from Madison Central High School in 1985. Chad graduated from Berea College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Chad was also an avid basketball player while in college. Chad joined the agency in October 2007.

Chad has over 6 years experience in the insurance industry where he has worked as a claims adjuster. In addition, he worked as a loan officer before joining Linville Insurance. Chad's principal focus is to provide insurance solutions for our family and business clients in our Richmond office.

Chad is highly involved in the youth basketball and youth baseball leagues. He enjoys attending local high school and college basketball games, spending time with family and taking his dog Ernie to his parents farm. Chad and his wife Mary Carole reside in Richmond.

Gwen has been in the independent insurance agency system for over 30 years, joining Linville Insurance in 1998. She is a licensed property and casualty agent. Gwen is a personal lines specialist servicing the personal insurance needs of current clients in our Richmond office. She handles renewals, changes and new business quotations.

Gwen resides in Mt. Vernon with her husband Jerry and son Carl. Gwen's favorite hobby is fishing.

Brian, a native of Madison County joined the agency in 2000. A graduate of Berea Community High School, Brian received a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Eastern Kentucky University in 1993.

After college, Brian worked as a loan originator for 3 years. He then served as a branch manager of a local bank for 4 years. Brian's principal focus is to provide insurance solutions such as homeowners, automobile, boat, RV, etc. for our family clients in the Berea area.

Brian resides in Berea with his wife Mary Anne and their 3 children Blake, Taylor and Kyle. Brian is currently active on the boards of the youth football, basketball & baseball leagues. He has also served as past president of the football league. He enjoys coaching, spending time with his children and farming cattle.

Chad, a native of Madison county, came back to work in the family business in February 2011 to head up the Life, Health, and Employee Benefits Division. He is a graduate of Georgetown College where he received a Bachelor's degree in English and Business Administration. He also graduated from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity Degree. Previously, he worked in Student Ministry and for the State of Tennessee in the Department of Human Services.

Chad resides in Berea with his wife Kelly and their children Devante, Desirae, Derrick and Delanie. Chad enjoys sports, spending time with family and he is an active member of Crossroads Fellowship Church.

Michelle, originally from Maryland, has been with Linville Insurance since 2008. She has been in the insurance industry for over 18 years. Prior to coming to Linville Insurance, Michelle worked as a commercial lines specialist in Las Vegas, NV. Michelle is a personal lines specialist serving the personal insurance needs of our clients in our Berea office. She also handles certain areas of service to our business clients as well.

Michelle and Joe reside in Richmond. Michelle enjoys bird watching, horseback riding, and hiking in the mountains.
